Here Come's the Fall

Here we are celebrating Heidi's Birthday!

We had a Claybaugh family vs. Watson family baseball game at good ole Northridge Elementary School (where all of my family and his attended elementary school). We had a great night and I'm pretty sure that at the end of the evening the score was tied wink wink:)

Todd and I went up the Canyon to enjoy the beautiful changing leaves.

Yes we are modeling with the longboards. Longboarding is an activity that always looked enticing to me, but I was always too scared to try until Todd came along and told me he would take care of those fears and he did. This was a new experience for me, but I put my trust in Todd and believe it or not we both lived to tell the tale.

Car Show at Thanksgiving Point

Yes that is a 2008 Ferrari! Me and my friend Devin enjoyed all the sweet rides at the car show.

The Trip

We went to two plays in the heat. The Tuachan theater is against some amazingly beautiful red rocks. We also got to watch a sweet lighting storm move through just to the east of us.















The dinosaur museum was sweet. Man those guys were BIG!

Southern Utah, HOT, HOT, HOT

This poor guy is hot, thirsty, and pooped, pretty much how I felt down there.















This is called the weeping rock. The water comes out midway of the rock, it was beautiful.

I loved the sites at Zions!

My parents and I enjoyed a sweet vacation to souther Utah, visiting Zions National Park, the mall, the beautiful temple, and the Tuahcan.

My Adventure in the Tetons

Here are some beautiful pictures from the hike.

I'm not exactly sure what that is, but it looks like squash.

This is the view from Table Rock. You can see the trail on top of the ridge that we hiked. If you know the area it is over looking Tetonia.

Part I-Hiking up

We arrived at the bottom of the trail around 7am and started off. I made sure I got a good breakfast, eggs anyone? The total trip was 14 miles long, oh boy. The Tetons are about 1 1/2 hours North East of Rexburg, Idaho.

We crossed the river 3 times on some pretty unstable logs. I felt a little like Indiana Jones.


We were just about to begin the switch backs and you can see how small Table Rock appears. Table Rock is the "small" rock between the two on the sides.

Part II-The Top of the World

This is on top of the ridge after all the switch backs headed up to Table Rock.

Can you find Table Rock?

We had lunch on the top and we all laid down and we were out for nearly an hour!! If you look closely near the edge of Table Rock you will see our little friend who enjoyed pieces of our food.
We made it to the top, all 7 miles! In the background are the famous and beautiful Tetons. I drank from a fresh mountain spring as well as dunked my head (several times through out the hike) to stay cool.

(Pictures below)This is about where I fell and broke my ankle, oh what beautiful colors I now have on my foot. The three men that were with us on the hike carried me out by"piggy back" the remaining mile and a half. I was so grateful for their help and their optimism. One guy said "it could be worse you could weigh 100 lbs more":) This is my first broken bone, celebrate!! I now have crutches and a big black boot.
